Agile Outcomes

Agile delivery consultancy · Taking enquiries

Agile that shows up in the numbers.

Agile Outcomes is the consultancy of Russ Wingfield. I help technology organisations plan clearly, deliver steadily and prove it with data, from a two-week health check to a leader embedded in your delivery.

Six ways to work together.

Start small with a health check, or bring me in to lead. Each engagement is scoped up front, with clear deliverables and a defined finish. Pick the one that sounds most like your situation.

Delivery Health Check

A short, evidence-led look at how work really flows from idea to release and what gets in the way. You finish with a shared picture and a plan, not a slide deck of opinions.

What you get

  • A baseline of flow metrics: lead time, deployment frequency and backlog health
  • A map of how work moves and where it waits
  • A review of planning, prioritisation and team practices
  • A prioritised plan for the first 90 days
  • A readout for your leadership team

How I work

Agile is the means. The outcome is the point.

  • Start from the data

Before I recommend anything, I baseline how work really flows: lead time, deployment frequency and backlog health. Opinions come second.

  • Change the mindset first

Frameworks are the easy part. Transformations stick when the way people think about value, ownership and improvement shifts.

  • Work at every level

From the c-suite to Product Owners and engineers. Strategy that teams cannot act on fails, and so do practices that leaders cannot see.

  • Leave capability behind

I coach, train and mentor so your people can run it without me. That is servant leadership applied to a consultancy.

About

I have worked on this from every seat.

I started in 2001 as a programmer, so I know what delivery feels like from inside the code. Over the next two decades I moved through Scrum Master, development manager and Head of Development, then into leading an agile practice, coaching, and consulting at enterprise scale.

That path shapes how I work. I care about engineering practice as much as ceremonies, I treat data as the starting point for any change, and I aim to leave teams able to run without me. I am a motivational leader who likes to lead by example.

Outside work I am a club runner, usually entering a 10k or half marathon each year, and I have played and coached American football.
